Karishma commenced her practice in the field of law in 2016 by practicing extensively in the Family Courts dealing in matters related to restitution of conjugal rights, maintenance, child custody, child support, visitation rights, domestic violence, divorce and surprisingly even remarrying the couples who had divorced one another earlier.

Family Laws aren’t merely procedural in nature. They require high levels of sensitivity, confidentiality and emotional intelligence to tackle matters that impact lives of not just the disputing parties involved but also the lives of their immediate families and most importantly, their children. Therefore, one doesn’t just need a qualified lawyer to represent their matter but there surely is a need for a lawyer who has a 360 degree view of all complexities that would be involved in handling such matters and the tact to effectively and efficiently resolve the high ranging conflicts between the disputing parties.

In 2018 after gaining expertise in the field of Family Law, Karishma ventured into the field of Commercial litigation with matters pertaining to breach of contracts, contractual disputes, cheque dishonouring and execution petitions.

Karishma has also assisted Senior Counsels appearing for her clients in matters involving Arbitration against Government Subsidiaries and Government Departments.

Apart from District and Commercial Courts, Karishma has an established practice in appearing before various forums and tribunals such as MSME Councils, GST Tribunals and Consumer Forums. Karishma has handled many consumer disputes and has been successful in reinstating the rights of the modern Indian consumer. She has appeared against companies ranging from a well-known chocolate brand to insurance to transportation leading to high levels of client satisfaction and increased consumer awareness.

Beyond Litigation Practice, Karishma serves as an Independent Legal Consultant to various companies and firms.

Since 2022, she has been associated with Shree Ram Krishna (SRK) Exports Pvt. Ltd, one of the largest diamond companies in the world and also serves as the Senior Legal Advisor to Sach Electro Mech Pvt. Ltd. majorly dealing in EPC contracts in India as well as abroad.

On the social welfare front, Shayog Shakti Welfare Trust and Pragati Foundation are a few of the charitable organizations that Karishma has been engaged with from time-to-time.
